The Venetian cuisine is rich in tasty products and DOC wines. We can suggest restaurants that prepare traditional recipes and guide you in the best cellars of the Euganean hills.
DINNER ON MEASURE
If on your return from your bike day, you prefer to find a typical Venetian dinner custom, we will be happy to cook for you. We like to relate our territory through the table, taking care of the seasonality and buying local products to the local companies that we know personally.
A few kilometers from us, there are the rice fields of Grumolo delle Abbadesse,an importante place by Slow Food for the variety “Vialone Nano”. We use it to prepare delicious risottos with wild herbs, or white asparagus from Bassano or with winter salad from Treviso, served with a Gambellara, the white wine from the Berici hills.
Have you ever tasted homemade polente? We combine it with homemade sausage or dry sausage.
In addition to typical dishes, we can also prepare salads with vegetables and fruits in season. We like to vary the use of cereals: barley, spelled or quinoa according to your preferences.
We carefully select the meat, taking care of how the animals are fed and bred. Some chickens come from our chicken coop. If you like dairy products, one of our favorite companies produces organic goat cheese.
The Ripasso della Valpolicella is a red wine that will exalt these flavors. If you will have water in the mouth, you just have to book your room at the Bed and Bike Ferramosca and ask for your personalized dinner.
